Client Classified Tab

Suspects, prospects and clients may have unlimited classified code descriptions and code designations. Classified code descriptions and code designations can be used to segment prospects and clients for mailing labels or for reporting purposes. They can also be used to designate such things as how the client accesses the Internet, what language they speak, or the household income. There are no limitations for the types of classifications that can be assigned. Any classification code descriptions and code designations can be added in SETUP > Lookup Management.

To Add New Codes

  1. Locate a client via SEARCH.
  2. Click the Details icon next to the client to update.
  3. Click the classified tab. The Classified Summary screen is displayed.

Note: Both client and policy level classified information is displayed on the Client Classified Summary screen. However, policy level classified information cannot be modified from the client level. The policy level classified information is denoted by a P in the Type column. Click the P link to jump to the policy then click the classified tab to view the classification. To add or modify policy level classified information, see the Policy Classified Tab topic.

  1. Click the Details icon to edit an existing code or value, or click [Add New]. The Account Level Code Classes & Designations screen is displayed.

  1. In the Code Description list, select a description for the classified information. The available selections can be added or edited in SETUP > Lookup Management. For more information about adding or editing selections, see the Adding Lookup Management Items topic.
  2. The Code Class area will be populated when the Code Description is selected. The Code Description and Code Class are linked in SETUP > Lookup Management when they are added.
  3. In the Code Designation list, select a designation for the classified information. The available selections can be added or edited in SETUP > Lookup Management. For more information about adding or editing selections, see the Adding Lookup Management Items topic.
  4. Click [Save]. The new codes are added to the Classified Summary screen.

Or

Click [Cancel] to return to the Classified Summary screen without saving any selections.
